IRF River Recovery programs are coordinated in partnership with local communities, governments, businesses, and other stakeholders in the region. These integrated, on-ground programs assist communities to revive the health of their rivers, improve livelihoods, build resilience for extreme weather events, and better plan for the future of the rivers and local communities.
Each river is unique—and so are each project’s objectives.
