25th International River Symposium Report

In partnership with the International Association of Water Service Companies in the Danube River Catchment Area (IAWD), the 25th International River Symposium (IRS) took place in the city of Vienna – recent winner of the Lee Kwan Yew World City Prize.

Exploring the theme, ‘Journey to Resilience: Communities, Climate & Biodiversity’, the 25th IRS had representation from many of the world’s large transboundary river basins, as well as from many rivers around the world.
