After careful consideration from the IRF Board and staff, the 26th IRS has been shifted to the second half of 2025, providing a longer runway to deliver a successful and impactful event.  

The overall theme, ‘Rivers and Climate: Accelerating Solutions and Partnerships‘, remains unchanged, and we expect enhanced participation, pledging commitment to drive action from high-level delegates representing government, industry, and the community worldwide. To build momentum leading into what promises to be an exciting symposium, we plan to host a series of online, interactive events to inform and inspire key themes and desired outcomes to be presented during next year’s event. We are excited to announce that the first event will take place at the end of 2024 – please stay tuned for additional information on the event theme and how you can attend.
